Arusha Poetry Club...... What is Arusha Poetry Club???? A non Government Organization focus on uplifting local poets in Tanzania, by providing exposure through poets events twice within a month, yet conducting workshops in schools free of charge. Aiming to create more conscious poets from Tanzania, likewise to enable sustained themselves through the art of poetry as self employment. Arusha Poetry Club has successful created platform for the young and master poets to share their pieces through out Poetry events in Arusha town. APC also has successful made international Poetry events like international women's day, African liberation day, Our leaders our heroes, China meets Africa, 100thousands Poets for change etc which has been attended by master poets like Richard S. Mabala, Charlotte Hill O'neal, Sitawa Wafula, Kenneth P. Soundland, Wanjiku Mwaurah, Prof. Cai Tianxin, Vernon Cloete, Robert Echols, Linda (Badilisha Poetry) , Grandmaster Masese, Gregory Corbin (PYPM) alongside with young local talented poets like Peter Mboye, Nelson Allen Junior, Upendo Makalla and many more that are well known at
