TANZANIAN BORN INTERNATIONAL FASHION MODEL, MILLEN HAPPINESS MAGESE VISITS HER DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS IN MTWARA.

 Former Miss Tanzania and International fashion model Happiness Magese has appealed to individuals and private companies to support education sector particularly in areas that given less priority in order to rescue children from engaging in risky practices. Ms Magese gave the call when visited projects of construction of classrooms and desks that she financed.
 The construction of classrooms at Mjimwema primary school in Mtwara Municipality was ongoing and the project of desks is being implemented by entrepreneurs groups in the area through special programme under the office of District Council, Mr Wilman Ndile.Total of 55 desks worth Sh5 million have already been made, according to the entrepreneurs who have been tasked to do the job. Ms Magese handed over those desks to the pupils of Lilungu primary school.
 For her part, education officer for Mtwara Municipality, Ms Frola Aloys, also called on education stakeholders to show up patriotism on education for residents in southern part of the country.Head teacher of Lilungu primary school, Mr Abdul Nangomwa said the district was struggling with various challenges that required concerted efforts from stakeholders.
 Apart from handling the desks, Ms Magese visited classrooms construction project at Mjimwema primary school where she also granted exercise books and pencils to pupils.Her visit in the district, Ms Magese who won Miss Tanzania in the year 2001, was part of her social activities that she conducts in the country in helping poor children.

Early this year, she gave a total of Sh15 million in Mtwara region alone through her projects to support education in the region.
